Confluence Park


Overview
Confluence Park is a 3/8 mile interpretive loop at the junction of the Vasquez and Fraser Rivers.  It was made with minimal impact to the environment, and the bridges and walls were made by hand. Confluence Park is located on Ski Idlewild Road and follows the Vasquez Creek Trail.  It has the following amenities:

  • Great Outdoors Colorado-Fraser River Enhancement Project
  • Fraser River and Vasquez Creek in-stream habitat improvements
  • Accessible Trail
  • Accessible Fly Fishing Deck                   
  • Interpretive Signage
  • Wetland Mitigation
  • Boreal Toad Pond
